Dr Bike is a group of cycle enthusiasts from Cycle Seahaven who help local people to use their bikes more. If you are not pedalling because of dodgy brakes, stiff gears, rattles, creaks or soft tyres, bring your poorly cycle to a Dr Bike surgery.
Based in the Bike Hub (in The Big Park, Peacehaven) this not for profit group has the aim of getting your bike back on the road or trail.
Independent electric bike shop, based in the beautiful seaside city of Brighton, stocking an incredible range of electric bikes and accessories to suit any style, preference, or budget.
Gain confidence with BRITISH CYCLING Coaching, the Mtb, E-Mtb and road coaching sessions are designed to help you learn new skills, gain confidence and have fun while in a safe and friendly environment.
A Bikeability course gives children the skills they need for riding their bikes on the road. It also encourages children to think independently and make informed decisions.
Cycle Seahaven, founded in 2009, is a friendly, inclusive and social cycling club based in the Seahaven area of East Sussex (Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven). Run solely by volunteers, they have an elected committee, several subcommittees and about 25 ride leaders who have extensive knowledge of routes for all abilities
Cycling Without Age – Seaford Chapter is a group of local volunteers and “pilots”. They are dedicated to taking anyone from the local community who is suffering from some form of isolation out on ‘trishaw’ cycle rides to feel the wind in their hair. Passengers will experience the town and nature close-up from the trishaw.

They are custodians of the National Cycle Network – the UK-wide network of over 10,000 miles of signed paths and routes for walking, wheeling, cycling and exploring outdoors.

Get Bikery is an eCargo Bike project based in Lewes that is aiming to provide a zero-carbon alternative to short journeys that would be ordinarily made by cars and vans.
Ovesco is a pioneering community interest company run for local communities in Lewes District since 2007. The first of its kind in the UK, Ovesco has created community-owned renewable energy projects, generating local investment and saving many tonnes of carbon emissions while also providing energy saving advice to local residents. Since 2007, it has installed 500kW of roof top solar power & helped develop a 5MW solar farm – enough to power more than 1350 homes.
The V-CC holds over 400 club events annually, including a club camp, yearly luncheon and monthly meetings by the various sections spread out across Britain, Ireland, Japan, and the USA. The Club runs a machine-loan scheme where Club-owned machines are displayed and ridden by custodian members.
The East Sussex Cyclists' Touring Club is a Local Group of Cycling UK - the UK's national cyclists' organisation. The local club exists to organise rides and special events for Cycling UK members in the East Sussex Area. The local group consists of people from a wide spectrum of backgrounds but with a common interest - CYCLING.
Whether you want to burn calories, reduce stress or increase your energy levels, cardio training (otherwise known as cardiovascular or CV training) will help you live a fitter & healthier life.
The Newhaven Active Travel Hub is now open for a range of free, community cycling activities. They offer learn to ride classes for young children, Bikability levels 1 and 2 for older kids and adults and offer bike fix courses as well as a weekly, after school Mountain Bike Club for children aged 11 and up. They have bikes that can be loaned to anyone wanting to take part in the sessions and all of the activities are delivered by trained ride leaders.
Sharing Skills & Cycle Seahaven will be providing free bike marking and registration. Every Police Force in the UK uses the BikeRegister database to search for stolen & recovered bikes.
Super Food will be showing you how to make energy bars and electrolite drinks at home from natural ingredients.
Seaford Repair Cafe meets on the 4th Saturday of each month at the Mercread Youth Centre. They’re all about repairing things together. Bikes, clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, toys and much more...
Their first aid cover and medical services ensure that health comes before anything else. Plus, they have a fun way of ensuring those who need it get help – their missing child posts make sure no one gets lost in the crowd. And if you ever feel like taking a break? They offer comfortable seating areas as well as wheelchairs for extra mobility during the event so you can truly be at ease with them around!
